This page explains what information Furtherfound collects, how it gets used, and how to get in touch if you have questions about it.

Who we are

Furtherfound is an SEO consultancy based in York, UK, run by Abram Grantham. Questions about this policy can be sent to abram@furtherfound.com.

What we collect

We only collect information you give us directly. That usually means your name and email when you make an enquiry, your phone number if you include it, and any details about your project you choose to share. We also collect basic technical data through analytics tools -- things like which pages were visited and what browser was used.

How we use it

Mostly to reply to you. We use your contact details to respond to enquiries and stay in touch about ongoing work. We look at analytics data to understand how the site is performing and where it could be better. We will only contact you about news or updates if you have asked us to.

Legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR, we process data on three grounds: legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and managing client relationships), contract (delivering the work you have engaged us for), and consent (any marketing communications you have opted into).

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic. The data is aggregated and anonymous. You can turn off cookies in your browser settings if you prefer not to be tracked.

Third parties

We do not sell your data or pass it on to third parties for marketing. Some tools we use to run the business will process data on our behalf. They are required to handle it securely.

How long we keep data

We keep your information for as long as it is relevant -- usually for the duration of a client relationship and a reasonable period after. We do not hold on to data longer than needed.

Your rights

You have the right to see what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or ask us to stop using it. Just email abram@furtherfound.com and we will sort it out.

Security

We take reasonable steps to keep your data safe. No system is completely immune to risk, but we do not store more than we need and access is kept to a minimum.

Updates

If anything here changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
